breathe yoga classes



Yoga can be as much or as little as you want it to be. For some it is purely a physical pursuit — keeping the body toned, strong and flexible. For others, yoga becomes more of a mindset and a way of living. Whatever your reason or your level of experience — we welcome you to breathe. We offer beginner, gentle and open level classes in Hatha, Baptiste Power Vinyasa and Pilates. breathe is proud to be an affiliate studio of the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute.

Everyone can practice yoga. Regardless of age, experience, or level of flexibility — we can all benefit from yoga if we maintain mental flexibility... and patience. The atmosphere at breathe is friendly, supportive and attitude-free. Choose a class from our schedule that best fits your goals and your abilities.

levels of expertise

beginner
For students with little to no yoga experience, a steady and informative practice.

gentle
For students who prefer a more restorative practice or who have physical limitations or conditions.

open
For students of all levels who are ready to experience a more challenging class.

intermediate
For students with a consistent, self-directed practice intending to explore more challenging poses.



power vinyasa basics
beginner
A great way to ease into power vinyasa classes. This class will demystify power vinyasa by breaking the sequence down and teaching modifications. Done in a hot room.


power vinyasa
open
An energetic practice that blends sweat, strength and flexibility in a class that throughly tones the body and disciplines the mind. Done in an 85-90 degree room.


yoga 101
beginner
Curious about yoga? This class covers the primary poses, principles of good posture & movement, and begins to explore the journey toward meditation and self-discovery.


hatha yoga
gentle / open
For students interested in a traditional hatha yoga class. A balanced class of asanas (postures) and relaxation — great foundation class.


pilates
open
Focusing on abdominal muscles, pilates is an exercise method that creates a strong core physique. Each exercise is performed with relatively few repetitions and the student is urged to pay heightened attention to proper form and active breathing.


ashtanga
open / intermediate
This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of postures — a process producing intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. The traditional primary series taught in a heated room. Some yoga experience recommended.


restorative
beginner / open
A combination of meditation, gentle yoga poses and supported postures using bolsters and blankets. A great way to wind down the week for yogis of all levels.
